All My Friends is hosting a Dinner and a Dance Party at Porta Montclair from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. A $90 ticket includes a welcome cocktail, passed small bites, pizza, salad and pasta station and DJ Dirty Preston playing all your favorite songs all night. If you want to dance but don’t feel like joining for dinner, tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Party Era 2025: New Year’s Eve On Alto Rooftop
Dress to impress in your finest party attire and get ready for an unforgettable night on Montclair’s only rooftop bar, Alto. With NYC skyline views, champagne toasts, dancing and plenty of Instagram-worthy photo ops, leave 2024 behind and welcome 2025 in style. Dance the night away from 9 p.m.-1:30 a.m. with sounds by our friend and one of our resident DJs, Toni B. Tickets are $75.
New Year’s Eve at Faubourg
Head to Faubourg to ring in the New Year with an unforgettable celebration! Enjoy an à la carte menu from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Or, you can dine on a four-course prix fixe menu for $165 per person between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The party heats up in the lounge as DJ Prince Hakim spins from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. (seating is first come, first serve). At midnight, experience a festive ball drop with complimentary hats and horns. Reservations here.
Just Jake’s New Year’s Eve Party
Ring in the new year at Just Jakes (30 Park Street, Montclair)! Music by New Power Soul. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person and include a buffet and open bar. Reserve at 973-655-8987.
Montclair Brewery’s NYE Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball
Break out your finest purple, gold, and green outfits (or black, silver, red, etc, are fine as well). Montclair Brewery is kicking off 2025 NOLA-style with a Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball! Enjoy live music by the legendary Lil’ Bastad, a special catering menu (available through pre-order), tons of craft drinks and a whole lot more. Tickets are $40.
NEW Dinner at Walnut Street Kitchen
If you want to enjoy a special meal earlier in the day to get home, change into PJs and watch the ball drop on TV, then check out Walnut Street Kitchen. They will offer an a la carte menu and a special menu on New Year’s Eve for seating between 4–10 p.m.
My Joy is hosting a Masquerade Ball four-course tasting menu dinner on December 31, with seatings from 5 to 9 p.m. Dress in your finest masquerade attire and step into a night of glamour and allure. There will be a live Jazz band to set the perfect mood.
New Year’s Eve at The Hudson Rose
Ring in 2025 with style and excitement at The Hudson Rose’s upstairs Harlow Lounge! Enjoy a premium open bar, dancing to music by a DJ spinning your favorite tunes, a snack buffet, appetizers and a midnight champagne toast. Tickets are $110 for general admission and $150 for VIP. Or, have a special four-course prix fixe meal downstairs at The Hudson Rose dining room ($95 pp).
Agave Maria The Great Gatsby NYE Party
Ring in the New Year Gatsby style at Agave Maria in Belleville! There are three ticket options: cash bar, open bar and open bar plus a prix fixe dinner menu. Plus, there will be a champagne toast at midnight. This party goes on until 4 a.m.!

Celebrate Noon-Years Eve with the family! This free family event offers a second-day disco party with Porta + All My Friends on the second level. There will be brunch, a balloon ball drop, community painting in the garden and more!
Kids’ Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Party at Gravity Vault
Gravity Vault is throwing a Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Party for kids ages 7–13 on December 31! It offers an early celebration between 5–8 p.m., filled with climbing, games, pizza, and lots of fun.
Littlest New Year at Bloomfield Public Library
Children and their grownups are invited to ring at BPL in the “noon” year. Read-aloud with the Bloomfield Firefighters and Police Officers, snacks, activities, music, dancing, and a noon countdown will be a perfect way to celebrate with the little ones!
First Night Morris County
First Night Morris County is a family-friendly celebration of arts and culture in downtown Morristown that will feature more than 70 performances, a film festival, tons of children’s activities, and a countdown to midnight with fireworks. The cost is $22.50 per ticket in a Family 4 Pack.
